The OEM Porsche® GT3 Crankshaft is the heart of the very strongest custom air-cooled engine builds.Some of the advantages with this crankshaft are larger journal bearings and oiling for the rod bearing at 180 degrees versus 360 degrees on air-cooled crankshafts.The GT3 crank is designed to hand constant revs to 9000 rpm. Companies like Singer® have discovered that by using a GT3 crank a reliable Porsche®NA air-cooled engines can achieve over 350HP when mated with other high performance parts. The GT3 crank is the most important  element for building "Stroker" engines and can be made from 3.0 and 3.2 Porsche®air-cooled engine blocks.
